A significant presence in the community

We choose to get involved for the good of our community. Far from limiting ourselves to simple financial contributions, we volunteer and organize fundraising events. During the fall of 2020, we organized a visibility campaign to help spread awareness of 3 organizations in the region.

We've supported several local organizations

La Maison Au Diapason - Lien externe au site.

La Maison Au Diapason is a palliative care organization that provides comfort and end-of-life care to patients and their families in the RCMs of Brome-Missisquoi and Haute-Yamaska.

Camp Garagona - Lien externe au site. S’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre.

Camp Garagona is a community-based organization and residential camp located in Frelighsburg. It helps individuals living with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder.

The camp offers a full range of social and recreational weekday services and weekend respite services in both English and French. People from across Quebec can make use of its services, though the camp prioritizes people in Brome-Missisquoi.

Dixville Foundation - Lien externe au site.

For more than 40 years, the Dixville Foundation has been working to improve the quality of life of children and adults living with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder.

Using money from donations and fundraisers, the Foundation meets the needs of the bilingual community in Estrie by providing activities, projects and facilities. It offers opportunities that aren't typically covered by government assistance or other services, playing a complementary role by actively supporting the right to strive for self-development, social integration and independence.

Fondation des Foyers Farnham - Lien externe au site.

This foundation was established in 1993 with funds bequeathed by American resident Marie-J. Withmore. She had been cared for at the Hospice Sainte-Élizabeth in the 1940s. At the time, the facility was run by the Grey Nuns and welcomed both seniors and orphans. It later became Les Foyers Farnham. The foundation was established to manage the legacy and enhance the resources needed to look after residents.

The foundation's motto is "You have a 'gift' for helping us" and its dedication and drive shine through with a variety of activities and initiatives all year round. Thanks to the work of its many volunteers, it can fulfill its mission by increasing its fundraising and developing appropriate, top-quality care for seniors.
